  • In business for a minimum of 3 years
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Committed to attend the entire 3-day programme

Consideration will only be given to applicants who have never attended the WIEF Women Entrepreneurial Retreat.

All businesses must develop and adapt if they are to survive.   Entrepreneurs must constantly review their business environment and have a strategy for growth that allows them to manage change for maximum benefit to themselves and their business.

The WIEF Women Entrepreneurial Retreat will provide an opportunity for women entrepreneurs in the SMEs to take stock of their business progress and develop appropriate strategy for growth.  The programme would help women entrepreneurs to address issues such as:

  • How does their current position compare with their business plan?
  • What is the profitability of the business?
  • Do all their activities yield a satisfactory return?
  • Should they rationalize their activities or diversify?
  • What direction should their business grow?
  • What steps should they take?
  • Are they and their business ready for growth? If not, what additional support do they need?

The 4-day Retreat will help Women Entrepreneurs to successfully maneuver the many hurdles, pitfalls and challenges that they faced that include finance, training and time management. After an initial in-depth examination of your business situation, external industry experts will offer objective advice or help.
